CHILDREN'S THEATRE

These sessions teach the children in depth information pertaining to theatre, including stage direction, voice projection, theatre etiquette, focus, costuming, stage makeup, expression, auditioning, character development and other theatrical skills.

These classes are especially designed to introduce children to theatre arts by helping them to improve skills in concentration, observation, imagination, creativity and body movement.

The curriculum was designed by Bonnie and focuses on having a positive attitude toward yourself and others. It is presented in a fun way that encourages children to be themselves, promotes self esteem and teamwork, while still being in a structured and disciplined setting.

Summer schedule is two weeks in July

Classes are 20 hours of instruction, group photo and certificate. Each class ends with a small production showcasing all techniques learned.

Bonnie Reichel has a lifetime of experience onstage. She was an instructor for Boles I.S.D. for many years and has been directing Children's theatre for the past 13 years .
